Over 18 months between 2013-14 I had the rarest of opportunities, to explore the landscape within which I grew up - in the process uncovering a unique connection that is held by the people of Teesdale to the landscape that surrounds them.

In creating the documentary The Heart of Teesdale, I created the CYCLES series as a means to bridge the space between the human aspect that narrates the film and the wild vistas that unfold throughout the film - using the very sounds of nature as my orchestra, you hear each season translated.
